Florian is an Imola 2015 prizewinner

Florian is now an Imola 2015 prizewinner. He has been awarded second prize in the Premio Città di Imola at the acclaimed Imola International Piano Academy during the 2015 Summer Festival.

From July 18th to 30th 2015 L’Accademia Pianistica Internazionale “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola, Italy, held its fourth Summer Piano Academy & Festival at the Rocca Sforzesca. Students attending the masterclasses are invited to compete for the Premio Città di Imola, with prizes donated by the City of Imola. Florian, who had been studying in Imola with Boris Petrushansky, was awarded second prize in the senior, category A, competition.

The International Piano Academy “Incontri col Maestro” is a school of advanced piano performance specialization, located in the beautiful setting of the Sforzesca Citadel in Imola. Founded in 1989, with the aim of helping young musicians to grow and develop their talent, the Academy has attained worldwide fame thanks to the excellence of its teaching philosophy, which has resulted in over sixty first prizes in the most prestigious international piano competitions having been won by its students.
